Moving to Nagaris from a billing platform? The Billing Import tab migrates your client data, proposals, services and payment information in one go. As its badge says, this integration is Import Only — it's a one-time import from CSV exports, not an ongoing sync.
The import needs seven CSV files from your billing system dashboard. Nagaris shows the export path for each file in the wizard:
Proposals Export — Proposals → All → Export
Payment Collections — Payments → Collections → Export
Collections & Clawbacks — Payments → Payouts → Export
Clients List — Clients → Export → Clients
Active Services — Clients → Export → Active Services
Client Proposals — Clients → Export → Proposals
Services Catalog — Services → Export
Each file must be a CSV of up to 50 MB.
In the sidebar, open Settings, choose Integrations, and select the Billing Import tab.
Click Start Import to open the Import Billing Data wizard.
Under Required Billing Exports, drag each CSV onto its matching upload box, or click Browse. The header pill counts your progress (for example 3 of 7 files) and each completed box turns green with a tick.
When the footer reads All files uploaded — ready to continue, click Continue. A progress bar tracks the upload, and on success you'll see Import Started Successfully! — Your billing data is being processed. You'll receive a notification when complete.
Until all seven files are attached, the footer reads Upload all 7 files to continue and the Continue button stays disabled. Use Clear All to start over, or Cancel to leave the wizard.
Back on the Billing Import tab, the Import History card lists every import with its date, status badge (Pending, Processing, Completed or Failed), who ran it, and a summary of what was created (clients, proposals, services). Click View on a row to open the import's detail page, which shows:
Import Details — when it ran and who ran it.
Import Progress — a per-file breakdown with its own status and row counts, refreshing automatically while processing, plus an Errors section if anything failed.
Data tabs — Clients, Proposals, Services, Active Services, Client Proposals, Collections and Clawbacks — where every imported row shows its row number, a processed/failed indicator, the key fields from your CSV, and links to the matched Nagaris client or contact where one was created or found. Rows with migration notes show a small note icon you can hover over.
On the Services tab you can also click Download XPM Services CSV to export your imported services catalogue in a format ready for XPM.
Imported proposal details are kept on each client group's Engagement card, which shows the original Client ID, Proposal Number, a Link to the proposal in the source system, and a downloadable Proposal PDF where one was captured.
If the upload fails you'll see an Import Failed alert with the reason — Files are too large. or Invalid file format. are the most common. Re-export the file from your billing system rather than editing it in a spreadsheet first.
You can run the import again later with Import More Data; each run is recorded separately in Import History.
