The Dashboard is the first item in the sidebar and is your personal to-do view. It opens on My Actions — a list of every incomplete action item that has been assigned to you in client meetings. This replaced the older dashboard of client-group report widgets (New Clients, Finalised Clients, In Progress and Client Group Status), so if you're looking for those, My Actions is what you'll see instead.
My Actions shows action items that were recorded against client meetings and assigned to you. Only your items appear — action items assigned to a colleague show on their dashboard, not yours. Once an item is marked complete it disappears from the list.
Items are grouped by due date into up to four sections, each with a count:
Overdue — the due date has already passed. These rows also show a red Overdue label next to the date.
Due Today — due on today's date.
Upcoming — due on a future date.
No Due Date — action items that were saved without a due date.
A section only appears when it has at least one item, so a dashboard with nothing overdue simply won't show the Overdue section.
Each row shows:
The action item description.
The title of the meeting it came from.
The client the meeting relates to (if the meeting covered several clients you'll see the first name plus a count, for example Smith Family Trust +2; meetings linked only to a group show the group name).
A short preview of the meeting notes, when the meeting has notes.
The due date on the right, shown as day and month (for example 15 June).
Tick the checkbox at the start of the row.
The item is removed from your list straight away and you'll see the confirmation Action marked complete.
You can also complete items from inside the meeting itself: open the meeting, go to the Actions tab and tick the checkbox next to the item. Completed items there display with a strikethrough. Completing an item anywhere removes it from your dashboard the next time it refreshes — the list also refreshes automatically when you return to the browser tab.
Click anywhere on a row (other than the checkbox) to open the meeting in a side panel. From there you can review the Details, Actions and Transcript tabs, or click Edit to change the meeting — including reassigning action items or changing due dates.
Use the Add Meeting button (it appears below your action list, and also in the empty state):
Click Add Meeting. A dialog opens with the prompt Link the meeting to a client or a client group.
Start typing in Search clients or client groups.... Results are grouped under Clients and Client Groups. Archived client groups are excluded from the results.
Select a result. The meeting panel opens so you can record the title, date, attendees, notes and action items straight away.
If you have no outstanding items, the dashboard shows You're all caught up with the note Action items assigned to you in client meetings will appear here — plus the Add Meeting button so you can record a new meeting on the spot.
Due dates are calendar dates, so an item moves from Due Today to Overdue at midnight in your local time zone.
Users with client-level access don't see the staff dashboard at all — signing in takes them directly to their own client group instead.
If an action item you expect is missing, check whether it was assigned to you (unassigned items don't appear on anyone's dashboard) and whether someone has already marked it complete. See the article on recording meetings for how assignments work.
