Nagaris Documents is backed by a single SharePoint library per organisation. An admin connects the library once, and Nagaris indexes it for browsing, search and (where enabled) AI questions on the Documents page. Documents must be enabled for your organisation first, contact support if you don't see it.
Admin controls for the connection live in Settings > Channels, on the Documents tab.
Go to Settings > Channels > Documents.
Click Connect SharePoint and sign in with your Microsoft 365 admin account.
Once connected, the card shows Connected, the date, and who connected it.
Only admins see the connect and disconnect buttons; other team members just see the connection status.
An organisation indexes exactly one SharePoint library at a time, not a list of them. After connecting:
Click Choose library.
Search for and select the SharePoint site.
Pick the library (drive) inside that site.
Nagaris starts syncing that library right away. A large library can take a while to finish its first full sync.
If you need to point Nagaris at a different library, click Change next to the current one, pick the new site and library, then confirm. Changing the library:
Stops syncing the old library. Its already-indexed documents are hidden from search and the Documents workspace, but nothing is deleted, choosing that library again brings everything straight back.
Starts syncing the new library, which can take a while for a large one.
Because swapping libraries takes the whole Documents workspace with it, Nagaris asks you to confirm before making the change.
Nagaris matches documents to clients by looking for a folder that contains one subfolder per client, for example a top-level Clients folder with a subfolder per client, matched by name. If your firm names that folder something else, or keeps it a couple of levels inside the library, tell Nagaris which folder it is:
In the Documents workspace, browse to the folder that holds your client subfolders.
Click the Folder options button (the ... icon) next to the folder breadcrumb.
Choose Match clients from this folder.
Confirm. Each folder directly inside it will be matched to the client of the same name, and its documents filed against that client.
The folder currently used for this shows a Client folders badge, and everyone can see it, but only admins can change it. Choosing a new folder doesn't lose existing links: documents already linked to a client keep that link, and Nagaris goes back over the rest of the library in the background to file the remaining documents, which can take a few minutes.
You can also click Stop matching clients here on the current client folder if you no longer want documents matched to clients automatically.
