Your personal settings live behind your name in the top-right corner of Nagaris. This article covers the Profile and Notifications pages, plus the theme switcher in the top bar.
Click your name in the top-right corner and choose Profile.
On the Your Details card, click the pencil (edit) button to open Edit Profile.
Update your First Name, Last Name, Phone and Mobile, then save. You'll see Profile updated successfully.
Your email address is shown on the card but can't be edited here — it's your sign-in identity.
On the Your Details card:
Click the circular photo area and choose an image.
In the Crop Your Image dialog, drag to position the circular crop, then save. You'll see Avatar updated successfully.
To remove your photo, click the small bin button on the photo — Avatar removed successfully.
Your photo appears next to your name across Nagaris, including on the Team page.
Staff users also see email cards on the Profile page:
Connect New Email — Link a Google or Microsoft account to send and receive emails. from within Nagaris.
Default Email Signature — the signature used on emails you send from Nagaris.
These aren't shown for client-role users.
The theme switcher sits in the top bar with three options: System, Light and Dark. System follows your operating system's appearance automatically. The choice applies to your browser, not your whole organisation.
Click your name and choose Notifications. The Notifications card (Your personal notification preferences.) has two toggle columns — Email and In-app — for each event type:
Required action completed — Notify me when a client completes a required action.
Agent task completed — Notify me when a background Nagaris agent completes a task. E.g. an agent triggered on a schedule.
Agent task failed — the same, for failed agent tasks.
Switch each channel on or off independently — for example, keep in-app notifications for agent tasks but turn off the emails.
Organisation-wide notification settings (reminder schedules for client required actions, firm-level notifications such as Engagement accepted and Payment failed, and Slack notifications) live on the workspace Notifications & Reminders page, opened from the Settings menu at the bottom of the sidebar under Notifications.
Client-role users see only Profile and Security in the personal sidebar — the Notifications preferences page is for firm staff.
The same user menu also links to Security (sign-in methods, MFA, passkeys) and shows Support, Privacy and Terms links at the bottom.
