The Clients page is your working list of every entity across the practice. This article covers its columns, filters, bulk actions, saved views and CSV export. The Client Groups and Contacts pages share the same toolbar pattern, so almost everything here applies to them too.
Click the Table Options cog (top right of the toolbar), open Columns, and tick the columns you want. Available columns include:
Client Name — links to the client, with the client type underneath and any tags.
Status — an editable status badge (read-only for client-role users).
AML and Risk — the latest assessment outcome and risk level (only when KYB is enabled for your organisation).
ABN / ACN — formatted ABN (or ACN where no ABN is recorded); hidden by default.
Contact — the client's own primary email and phone.
People — the contacts linked to the client, shown as stacked avatars; hidden by default.
Partner and Manager — editable inline: click the cell, pick a team member, and Nagaris saves immediately (Partner updated / Manager updated). Hidden by default.
XPM, BGL, Billing — icons showing whether the client is linked to Xero Practice Manager, BGL, or an imported billing system. The XPM and BGL columns only exist when those integrations are connected.
Details, Software, Documents, Declaration — a warning icon when the client has outstanding required actions in that area, or a double tick when it's clear.
Company Constitution, SMSF, Trust Deed, Partnership Agreement — status of the core entity document for the relevant type; hidden by default.
Client Group — the group name and code; hidden by default.
PID — the client's short identifier.
Created At — with relative time.
Your column choices are saved to your user profile per table, so they persist between sessions. Use Reset to Default in the same menu to go back to the standard layout.
The toolbar always shows Search, Status and Client Type. Click More to reveal additional filters: Tags, Partner, Manager, Client Group, Connected Apps (XPM / BGL — only when connected), AML and Risk (KYB organisations only) and Created On (a date range). Click Less to collapse them again; any filter with a value stays visible.
By default the list shows Prospect, Onboarding, Active and Lost clients — Archived is excluded until you add it to the Status filter. When filters are applied, a reset button appears to clear them all. Selected tag filters also appear as colour-coded chips under the toolbar with a Clear tags shortcut.
Once you've built a useful combination of filters, click the bookmark button (Saved Views) next to the Table Options cog:
Type a name under Save current filters as a view and click Save.
New views are pinned to the sidebar automatically, in a Saved Views group — clicking one applies its filters and opens the right list.
In the popover you can apply, rename, delete, or Pin to sidebar / Unpin from sidebar for each view.
Saved views exist separately for the Clients, Client Groups and Contacts lists, and are not available to client-role users.
Tick the checkboxes on one or more rows and a bar appears showing N of M selected with these actions:
Delete — bulk delete with a confirmation (and an optional Delete in XPM checkbox).
Run AML Assessment — only when KYB/AML is enabled and you have AML access.
Set Status — apply one status to all selected clients.
Set Partner and Set Manager — assign a team member.
Set Tags — tick tags then click Add or Remove.
Create Engagements — create engagements from a template for the selected clients.
Send Message — bulk email/SMS to the selected clients' contacts.
Click Cancel to clear the selection.
Open Table Options and choose Export CSV. The export respects your current search and filters — so filter first, then export. You'll see Downloading clients CSV... and then Clients CSV downloaded successfully; the file is named nagaris-clients- followed by today's date. The Client Groups and Contacts pages export the same way. Client-role users cannot export.
The Table Options menu on the Clients page also includes Bulk Engagement Status and Bulk Send Status for reviewing recent bulk operations.
Sorting is available on Client Name, Client Group and Created At via the column headers.
