Every client (entity) has its own detail page. Open it by clicking the client's name on the Clients list, or expand its card on a group's Clients tab — both show the same cards.
The header shows the client's type icon, name, an editable status badge and the PID badge. Below it, the tab strip adapts to the client and your organisation:
Details — the main cards page (see below).
KYB — business clients only, when KYB is enabled for your organisation and an assessment exists; staff only.
BGL — only when the client is linked to BGL; staff only.
XPM — only when the client is linked to Xero Practice Manager; staff only.
Access — the client's bookkeeping software details.
Declaration — the signed declaration.
Billing — when billing is enabled for your organisation.
AML — business clients in KYB-enabled organisations (an individual's AML lives on their contact page instead).
Mail — when Nagaris Mail is enabled; staff only.
Tabs show a warning icon when they hold outstanding required actions.
The Details tab is a stack of cards. Exactly which cards appear depends on the client type, but a Company (the fullest example) includes:
A type-specific details card (for example Company Details) with name, ABN/ACN, GST registration and similar fields, plus the client's tags. It also shows the Client Group, PID, Partner, Manager and notes. Use the pencil button to edit.
A tax card (companies), Trustees cards (trusts and SMSFs) or Partners (partnerships).
Client Group — a link back to the group.
Contact details (the client's own emails, phones and websites) and the linked Contacts with their roles.
Core entity documents (constitution, trust deed, partnership agreement, depending on type), plus tax returns, financial statements, income and expenses, documents, cloud documents and document requests.
Addresses — see the addresses article.
Staff-only cards: Meetings, private notes, Status History and record metadata.
Integration cards (staff only): XPM Standard Fields, XPM custom fields and XPM relationships when XPM is connected; BGL cards when BGL is connected.
The XPM Standard Fields card is where a client's bank details live: Account Number, Account Name and Financial Institution Name, alongside Client Code, Export Code, Referral Source, Branch/CAC/ICA #, Balance Month, Tax Agent and the ATO flags. The bank account fields sync from XPM and are read-only in the edit form.
The extra actions (…) menu on the details card offers:
Edit — same as the pencil button.
Copy Link and Open in New Tab.
Move to Client Group — opens Manage Client Group Membership (see the adding clients article).
Related Client Groups (Movements) — the history of groups this client has belonged to.
Change Client Type — Other Clients only.
Convert to Sole Trader — Individual Tax Return clients only.
Archive and Delete — see the archiving vs deleting article.
If a client synced from XPM has a sync problem, the details card shows an XPM Error Message alert with the reason and a button to retry the sync manually.
If the page reports Client Not Found, the client may have been deleted or you may not have access — use Back to Clients to return to the list.
