A team, also called a pod, groups staff who work the same clients. Once a team exists, you can assign it to users, clients and client groups so everyone can see at a glance who owns what.
Open the Settings menu at the bottom of the sidebar and choose Teams. Everyone can view the list; creating, renaming, deleting and assigning teams is for firm admins (Administrator or Owner).
On the Teams page, click New Team.
Enter a Name, for example "Pod 1".
Optionally add staff straight away with the Users field.
Click Create Team.
You'll see a confirmation naming the team you created.
The Teams table has two columns:
Team — click the name to edit it inline. Non-admins see the name as read-only text.
Users — an inline picker showing avatars for everyone on the team. Admins click it to add or remove people; non-admins see the list of members without edit controls.
Click the trash icon in the Actions column for that team and confirm in the dialog. This removes the team itself; it does not delete the users, clients or client groups that were assigned to it.
On the Users page (Settings menu → Users), each row has a Team column. Click it to:
Pick an existing team from the list, or choose Unassigned to clear it.
Rename a team inline (hover a team in the list and click the pencil icon), or type a new name and press enter to create a team and assign it in one step. Only admins see these management controls.
The Clients and Client Groups pages each have a Team column and a Users column. If you don't see them, open Table Options → Columns and tick them on.
Team — click the cell to assign the client or group to a team, or clear it with Unassigned. Assigning a team to a client group also assigns every client inside that group, with a confirmation like "Team updated. Clients in this group were assigned too." Clearing a group's team unassigns its clients the same way.
Users — assign one or more staff directly to the client or group, separate from any Partner or Manager already set. Assigning staff to a client group assigns them to every client in the group too.
Client-role users don't see edit controls on either column.
Team assignment is independent of Partner and Manager — a client can have a partner, a manager and a team pod at the same time.
Assigning a team or staff to a client group cascades to every client already in that group, but it doesn't stop you from setting a different team or staff on an individual client afterwards.
The Team and Users columns follow the same show/hide and per-user column preferences as the rest of the Clients and Client Groups tables.
