Nagaris Mail (currently in beta) syncs mailboxes from your firm's Microsoft 365 into Nagaris, so client email threads sit alongside the clients, contacts and groups they relate to. It's separate from the personal connect your own email option and from the shared Inbox — Nagaris Mail is an organisation-wide connection, set up once by an admin, that brings whole staff mailboxes into a read-focused, searchable archive.
Nagaris Mail must be enabled for your organisation. If you don't see Mail in the sidebar or a Mail tab on the Channels page, contact support to turn it on for your firm. It's also staff-only — client-role users never see it.
Click Mail in the sidebar. The page has three panels (on mobile, they stack):
A filter rail on the left with a Search mail box and quick views:
All Mail — everything synced, with a total count.
Unread — threads with unread messages; the count is highlighted while anything is unread.
Has Attachments — threads containing attachments.
Sent — outbound mail.
The thread list in the middle. Unread threads show a dot and bold subject; a paperclip marks threads with attachments; a chip shows the linked client group where Nagaris has matched one. Scroll to load more.
The reading pane on the right. Until you pick something it says Select a conversation — Choose a thread from the list to read the full conversation, attachments and linked records.
Below the quick views, the rail has two more sections:
Filter By Client Group — Nagaris links threads to client groups automatically based on who's on the email. Click a group to see only its mail; click again to clear. New workspaces show No linked groups yet until matching kicks in.
Mailboxes — every synced mailbox, each with a thread count. Click one to see just that mailbox's view of the mail. If nothing is connected yet you'll see No mailboxes connected and (for admins) a Connect Microsoft 365 button.
Filters combine — for example Unread plus one client group plus one mailbox.
Selecting a thread opens the whole conversation: the subject, a chip linking to the matched client group, a message count, and — where Nagaris has matched people — a pill like 2 contacts · 1 client you can click to jump to those Contacts and Clients records. Each message is a card showing sender, recipients (To and Cc pills, with a Copy action for any address) and the message body; the latest message is expanded and older ones collapse. Attachments are listed on each message and can be downloaded. Opening a thread marks it read for you, which updates the Unread count.
Once Nagaris Mail is on, a Mail tab appears on each client, contact and client group page. It shows the same thread list and reading pane, pre-filtered to that record, with its own Search mail box — handy when you're already looking at the client.
Nagaris Mail is read-focused: you browse, search and link mail here. To send email to clients from Nagaris, use the Inbox.
No conversations — Nothing matches the current filters. usually means your filters are too narrow, or mailbox syncing hasn't been switched on yet (see Choosing which mailboxes sync).
Which mail appears is controlled by admins per mailbox, so if a colleague's mailbox is missing, an admin can enable it from Channels, Mail.
